I was going to row and ride indoors because I didn't want to ride in the dark. I changed my mind at the last minute because the temperature felt great! I didn't know it was going to be a windy ride. I did want to test the bike fit and myself. So once I got out to the main road I got the cadence up and my goal was to keep it above 80 RPM. The wind was blowing me around and did not make things easy. I didn't feel too bad so I pressed on wards. I wasn't sure how long I would be able to keep it up... I figured I would go for at least 15 miles. It's been a long time since I was able to ride hard. I finally get to RTE 70 4 mile circle, sprint around it and get to my 15 mile mark and made a very short pit stop. Legs were feeling the effort, I get back on the bike and resumed the the effort. I knew I wasn't breaking any records but it sure felt like I was, LOL! I get to the Country Lakes turn and I take it, I get 1 mile in and realized I turn too soon so my ride will be 2.5 miles short... I continued to work it all the way home! The ride was a big success as I was able to work the entire ride. My legs are fully exhausted and I'm fully tanked, its a great feeling knowing I'm ready to work hard! Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
