I wasn't sure how I wanted to ride tonight, I was gong to do a short outdoor night ride, then row and finish with a short indoor ride. I couldn't get my cadence up on the road bike as I had been able to do. I tried everything. I thought maybe it was the wind but that didn't stop me before. I got to where I was supposed to turn in and decided to go straight. I get to the RTE 70 4 mile circle and decide to take the newly paved 4 Mile Road. It was nice, very nice paved road with little traffic and an improved shoulder, a little over 1/2 of the shoulder line was painted on the side I was riding. I did not pay attention to the other side! Now that the road is nicely paved I will need to ride it more often! I worked this ride as hard as I could... I wasn't fast nor put out a lot of power but it was all I can do right now and felt good about the ride. Once I get my fitness better I will start to work on both speed and power. This was a fun and enjoyable ride and all the cars that passed me were very good at giving me plenty of room. Big smiles for another grand adventure! Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
