今天路線的難度算是入門級,頗適合我在韶關騎遊多天後仍然勞累的狀態。
標題中的環塘自然是指大欖水塘,大欖明珠則是指面臨青山公路,大欖海邊山崗上的雷達站。不知雷達站是什麼時間落成的,只能肯定是近年間的事。
我們在大棠集合,踩過去吉慶橋,到吉慶橋會合黎詩人。途經拍照熱點的楓香林,每個冬季都好多人到楓香林拍照的。
環塘路線算是入門級的越野路線,可是我也發生兩次意外,第一次意外摔傷了手腕。事緣有一處落級路,傍邊有土坡樹根路,我見兩個洋車友完成了,我也跟著他們的路線,可是到了一個樹根位置,發現有尺幾兩尺的大級,沒有心理預期下而窒步,人就飛出去,手腕按地而受傷。另一個摔倒是選錯路線,修正不到,摔出山徑;之後行程順利完成。
穿過大欖監獄後,Rocky 有手機導航,好快找到正確的路線前往雷達站。往雷達站的開始是一段頗有斜度的車路,完成斜路後是引水道,沿引水道騎到盡頭就是雷達站了。原來這是機場的天氣探測的多譜勒雷達。
因為不想原路回去,經觀察後,我們選擇了一個有小叢林的山脊下去。可是去到山脊後,這才發現再沒有前路。經數翻探索,找到了一個人工土坡,有陡直梯級落去下面鄉村。雖然有梯級,因為有好多攀藤和樹木伸來佔據了,加上極為陡直,要帶著單車下去也有點難度的。
黃金海岸午飯後,各自歸家,我選擇了跟黎詩人騎回上水。
途經小布站時,不期而遇,見到剛騎完車的冠哥和幾位車在休息。後來又遇上另一位車友「教授」,我們交流了好多小布改裝的意見;及後因教授有朋友要試車,我們就此別過。
到上水站後,竟然要排隊入閘,每個閘機都是幾十人的隊伍,這才讓我認識水貨客對這兒居民的影響真的好大(已經不說站外的問題了)。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
