Gorgeous sunny morning with low humidity and light NE winds greeted 12 Club members on a 41 mile loop from BRW toward Plato Center. Joined by Wally, Andrew, Steve O, Dave F, Monica M, Monica L, Gina, Jeff N, Electric Gene, and new member Joe W. Routing through Geneva and St. Charles where we scooped up Gene R after crossing IL 64. Circle K in Wasco provided water stops on outbound and return loops. Was great to ride several roads (Corron, Dittman, Silver Glen) that many of us had not ridden in years. Most roads were in good shape, save for Denker, where one rider's Garmin mount snapped (saved by his tether) and the portion of Campton Hills Road west of La Fox. Gene R diverted home at the Campton Hills/Peck intersection while Steve O and Wally diverted home once in Batavia. Great group, great ride with solid climbing on a gorgeous day. Afterwards, Dave and I grabbed lunch at Everdine's Grilled Cheese Company
