Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The cooling trend has continued. When I got out, it was in the 60’s. Winds from the North West. I wore arms, knees, thick base layer and some newspaper in the jersey. I also brought a head cap for good measure, but I ended up not needing it. My Garmin watch was out of batteries. I had to make up my mind. I ended up charging it with a battery bank and stashed it in my saddle bag so that I could wear it on the way back. The legs felt ok to start. I made it to the summit of the descent in good average time. I cruised the downhill and put in two modest digs on the risers. After reaching the base, I headed back. I stopped at the Chavez Center to remove my knee warmers as they were riding down as usual and it was also getting warmer. Turned out to be fine. I stopped once more for a bio break in the bushes. After that it was non-stop climbing. The landmarks went quick. As I was approaching the summit, I tried to guess how many more songs I would need to reach the top. I ended up making it there with one song. I was pushing it, reaching near max going over the top. After reaching the summit, I recovered on the bike and headed back home. I shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. Patience was so so as I was descending to Keene. It got better as the climb progressed. Balance and form felt good. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana, and some grapes for breakfast. I drank most of my Sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly. I have to swap out the power meter battery and oil the chain. Other notes, no cyclists today. There were some visitors at the Loop Monument when I was on my way back.
