Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The wind has picked up. Temperature in the mid 40’s. Not a great day for riding, but better than riding indoors. The power has gone out, as I write this log entry. This is the first ride since Saturday. My left glut is a bit sore, but didn’t detract from my ride too much. I decided to go to the top of Banducci and back. The wind is from the South East. I was tempted to go to WS, but decided against it. The legs felt sufficiently responsive. I was warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. I think I got my clothing right. I didn’t wear a jacket, but I had a thick base layer. Also arms and knees. I brought my skull cap. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments rest and put on the skull cap. I headed back from there. It was mostly fun and games, back to home. Concentration feels good. No withdraw from big effort on Saturday. Gear worked great. Balance and form were good. No ailments, other than my left glut being sore. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
