Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up early, had breakfast and took a nap. I didn't want to get out of bed, but managed to do it. I got out a bit later than I intended. It was cold in the morning, so I decided to let the temperature increase. As per the reason for napping. It was in the 70's when I got out the door. I forgot to start the GPS. So, I'm having to revert to the Strava metrics. The legs felt average to start. Sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the summit. I cruised the downhill. Mostly soft pedaling. I put in sprints over the two risers. I spared no time to wait after reaching the base. I headed back up. It didn't take much for the legs to warm up. I was doing the usual landmark counts. All the while, trying to make calculations as per time to reach the next landmark. The legs were responding well. I was able to keep a good tempo for the majority of the climb. Not redlining it much. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. Ailments, next to none. Balance and from was good. Gear worked well. Other notes, I saw 3 or 4 cyclists today. As I was starting the climb, I passed a pedestrian walking down the mountain. I gave him acknowledgement. A quarter mil later, I saw a car that appeared to have gone off the road. It appeared stuck. I'm assuming it belonged to the man that I passed. Hope he got out of there ok.
