Well let's see what the road bike feels like and go ride on 99.9% pavement (coupla shortcuts thru gravel/grass/etc). And it was good. Not much climbing, but enough to make the lungs work a bit. They seemed good. Little bit of huffing and puffing here and there but it quickly passed. Legs felt pretty good. But again, not exactly a strenuous route. But things are improving. Lovely October day: blue sky, cool-ish, a bit of a north breeze. Very nice to be out. Checked out the progress of the bridge on Redland Road (now months behind schedule). Appears to be pretty far from complete. Got the evil eye from one of the workers even though I was not near the giant hole. Rolled through Washington Grove; lots of people out walking. Went by Crazytown aka Harriet Tubman Elementary School and its pickup moms. OMG.
