Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was nice and cool. In the low 60's with winds from the north. I wore 1 base layer and arms. My legs felt fresh from the start. I went into the ride thinking that I wanted to do an average ride. That's what it ended up being. I was plenty warmed up by the time I reached the start of the Banducci climb. I kept the pace nice and steady up the wall, recovered on the flats and more of the same moderate tempo to the summit. No heroics. The downhill was fun and games as usual. I kept a nice moderate pace through the farmlands and relaxed a bit after reaching the entrance of SS. I was doing good time despite the fact that I was staying well within myself. I reached the SS tunnel in about 1:00. As I exited SS, I did slightly above moderate tempo. I think I picked up the tempo just a bit as I headed north on Pelliser. It was more of the same until I reached the last climb. I held a good tempo going up the last ascent and did a good push over the summit. I recovered on the flats and kept the pace around 20 mph till I reached route 202. From that point, it was mostly fun and games. There was a nice tailwind going down route 202, I think I hit 40mph as I was winding it up to merge with traffic and make the left hander. Concentration was spot on. I was in the zone for most of the ride. Ailments consisted of some minor soreness in the back. I was stretching constantly to keep it in check. Balance and form is coming along nicely. I felt on top of the pedals for the greater duration of the ride. Gear is working great. No problems. Other notes... There were AT&T and Bright House utility trucks parked at the entrance of SS. No doubt related to the soon to be gigabit internet service due later next month. Today, I drank gatorade during the ride. Other than the bad taste, I'd say that Cytomax worked better. BUT, I have to compare them apples to apples. Hopefully my new Cytomax flavor will arrive next week before my next SS ride.
