It was a pleasant day if you didn't mind the wind. It was partly cloudy and about 70°F, but with a 10 mph north wind gusting to 20 mph. I didn't really have a plan and let the winds and whim guide me. That wound up being the old reliable course out over the dam and back home over Seth Child hill. So this really was a ride uphill and into the wind! The computer initially chose the PowerTap hub, which I thought was disabled. That crapped out after my rest stop at the top of the spillway, I'm guessing from a dead battery. I stopped on the west end of the dam again to swap power meters to the pedals, that I wanted anyway, but inadvertently stopped the ride. I had to start a second, and so wound up with this combined file courtesy of the FIT File Tools. The GoPro battery also quit on the dam, then the camera battery door jammed. Need to fix that, too. Wore the Canyon/SRAM jersey and Cannondale bibs again, and enjoyed myself despite the little tech glitches. Pedalled hard.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
