Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I've been busy the past few days, and couldn't get out for a ride. Finally, I got out today. The weather is nice and cool. Sunny, with winds from the North West. I wore arms,knees, skull, and base layer. The body felt good from the start. I didn't bother checking my time at the top of the descent. I soft pedaled the downhill and put in two digs on the risers. After making it to the base, I headed back, no stopping. I was starting to get warm, but I decided to keep my layers on. It got colder, so I think I got that right. The ride went as usual. The legs felt responsive. The dense air felt good. Concentration was good. Few lapses. I had lots to think about. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand soreness. My knee has been slightly sore, but no signs of that on the ride. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was spot on. Mostly gatorade. Other notes, there were some people at the Loop monument on my way down and back.
