Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Fantastic weather for a WS ride! Winds from the South East. The body felt good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. The trip to WS was the usual grind into the wind. My music kept me company. I kept the tempo steady, out of the saddle to stretch the legs. As I was approaching WS, I noticed some gliders in the air. I aimed my GoPro camera to the sky. I've yet to check the footage. After reaching WS, I headed back, no stopping. I held 20 MPH + most of the way back. I was able to push it over the summit. The following descent was a treat. Approaching 40 MPH. I pulled over once to check the GoPro battery. It had sufficient charge remaining. It was mostly fun and games back to home, from there. Concentration was good. Not the best. Some coaching here and there. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand soreness. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my Gatorade. No water. Other notes, I must have counted three gliders at WS. Can't wait to see the footage.
