Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather continues to be unride-able. Great day for an indoor session. It just so happens that stage 6 of the TDZ Zwift event was today. I hopped on the chance. It was the Innsbruck circuit race. It had about 1000 feet of climbing in four laps. All my gear was set to go about 10 minutes prior to the start. I logged on and noticed that I couldn't join the group, even after 5 minutes till. Fortunately, the Zwift Companion allowed me to join. I think I had to sign out and sign in to the group. Anyway, it all worked out. I arrived on the starting line with about 2 minutes to go. The pace was fast. I was trying to hold my position. I realized that I forgot to start the fan. I reached over as quick as I could to turn it on. It turned on, but was oscillating and not fixed. So, I had to deal with the extra heat that I was building up. The laps went fast. I was counting them down, but tried my best to keep from fixating on it. I was able to stay mid pack for the duration of the ride. I was happy about that, so I wasn't trying to redline in order to gain 10's of places. I stayed with groups. I'm having to relearn spinning on the trainer. I think that's more effective than grinding a big gear and out of the saddle. Such is true on the downhill and flats. I was able to make up ground on the uphill sections and I used my feather power up at least two times on the steeper sections. I was constantly watching the wattage of others with respect to mine. When I was at the front of the pack, I let up a bit. When I was mid pack, I upped the tempo. I don't think I was dropped from a group once things settled down. I was pulling on the pedals while in the saddle and pushing while out of the saddle. It seemed to help use different muscle groups and letting others recoup. The finish was on a flat stretch of road. I put in a dig with my biggest gear. After that, I cooled down for a few minutes to let the HR go down. Concentration was good. Definitely captivated by the moment. Balance and form was good. Gear worked perfect. Ailments, some mild hand soreness. A bit of heat buildup as per the fan not set straight. Nutrition was good. I had about half my Gatorade. Other notes, there were about 850 riders today.
