Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I wanted to sleep in more today, but I decided to get up instead. The weather is nice and cool. I think a bit cooler than the previous ride. I had to wear two base layers and the usual arm and knees. I brought my skull cap and ended up putting it on later in the ride. The legs felt good to start. I think I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. The morale felt better when I made it to the Alpine Forest. Much less traffic mitigation. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go after the Alpine Forest. I was thinking about WS, but the wind was going the wrong ride. So, I decided to add the Tour de Teh route, without SS. When I reached the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to take a few moments rest. The GoPro battery was around 50%. I put on my skull cap as the wind was getting cold. I let traffic by and then headed downhill. I made it safely to the base and started the trek through the farm lands. As was expected, I had a nice tailwind on the way back. The legs were a bit heavy when I reached the last climb. So, I kept the tempo moderate. After reaching the summit of CVR, I pulled over to swap the GoPro battery and then got back on the road. From there it was to Route 202. I let traffic by and made my way to OTR. From there, it was mostly fun and games back to home. Concentration was good. A bit on the reluctant side when I got out, but it turned around as I was making good progress. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my Gatorade, no water. Ailments, some mild hand soreness, otherwise just the usual fatigue. Gear worked perfect. Other notes, I saw two cyclists today.
