Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up at 6 in the morning today. I had breakfast and went back to bed. I tried my best to get up as soon as possible. I got up around 9:30-ish. Thus the departure was after 10 AM. I decided to head out to the Alpine Forest. The weather is hot. In the mid 80's when I got out. The air was on the cool side. The legs felt good to start. I didn't bother checking my time as I reached the summit of OTR. The Banducci wall required some traffic mitigation. Otherwise, I kept it in a low gear and trying not to red-line it too much. The Alpine Forest went fast. I was near max over the top. I made my way around the backside, reaching 40 MPH on one of the downhill sections. After exiting, I headed to the summit as I normally do. I took a few moments rest, hydrated, let the traffic by and then headed back down the mountain. I let the traffic by before descending the Banducci Wall. It was fun doing my tuck nearing 40 MPH. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. This is the first ride without company (Peggy). It felt good and I didn't have a sense of loss. That just means I was satisfied with our rides together. Balance and form was good. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was good. No hunger pains. I had most of my Gatorade and some water. Other notes, I saw just one other cyclist as I was on the backside of the Alpine Forest.
