Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I had lab in the morning, so I got up real early to have breafast and still time to nap before going to lab. I got back and had some waffles, then I got ready for the ride. The Alpine Forest was the perfect choice. The weather is warm, but the air was on the cool side. Perfect riding weather. For some reason, the Garmin computer didn't want to start after pairing with my smartphone. I turned off the Bluetooth on the phone and that did the trick. I'll have to upload the metrics to Strava manually. My body responded well. I forgot to turn on the GoPro and noticed when I was near the start of the OTR climb. I was a bit upset. I forgot to check my time at the summit of OTR. It felt like good average time. The Banducci Wall went well. There was minimal traffic. After reaching the Alpine Forest, I was able to settle into a tempo. It was faster than the previous, but I give credit to the weather more than anything. I definitely feel better since the last ERCP. After making it to Lemans, I was near max, but had a bit in reserve. I made my way around the backside (having fun) and to the Summit of Banducci. I pulled over for a minute to recover. The GoPro showed about 61% battery remaining. From there, I headed down the mountain. Some traffic mitigation on the way. I descended off the wall in the tuck, from top to bottom. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. The morale felt good. I was listening to my music. And, I had a few things to think about. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some left hand numbness while out of the saddle. Gear worked perfect (except for the Garmin glitch). Nutrition was spot on. No hunger signs. I had about half my Gatorade and some water. Other notes, no other cyclists today. Just one (serious) runner.
