Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I decided on a quick ride today. Keene fit the bill. Weather is a bit on the cold side. I decided to wear arms, knees and a head cap. The wind was mild and from the South. I made it to the summit of the descent in good time. I cruised the downhill. I put in two digs over the risers.
When I reached the base, I headed back. I decided to stop at the Chavez center to remove my skull cap. From there, it was non-stop. The morale felt pretty good, so the miles went fast. There was a headwind, but it wasn't so detracting from my tempo. I kept it steady, no less than moderate. While climbing, there were some spots where I could see the summit. Amazing how far away it looks! I was mostly listening to music and I had a few things to think about, too. By the second dip, I was feeling better in the morale. I could almost see the summit in my mind. When I arrived at the summit, I kept the tempo going, no digs. From there it was back home. Concentration was good. Having stuff to think about and playing the where will I be at the end of this song helped. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand numbness while climbing out of the saddle. Gear worked great. The power meter is working now. I had to calibrate it yesterday with the smartphone app. Nutrition was good. I had most of my Gatorade and minimal water. It seems that a quarter cup of Gatorade works best for me. I'm taking mental notes on that. Other notes, no cyclists out there today. No trains either.
