Record warm temperatures, sunny skies and light breezes made getting outside mandatory today, and everybody did! The parks and trails were packed with people enjoying all sorts of activities; it looked more like a summer holiday! I really enjoyed my leisurely circumnavigation of the city by trail, and didn't even mind my annual Spring trail flat (fixed, once again, in the Sojourner Truth pocket park). I even indulged in a bit of gravel grinding on Purcell Road before meandering thorugh the neighborhood to pad out my distance (and prolong the fun). Knew that it was too warm for the bibs, so I wore the PI shorts with the SmartWool short-sleeve jersey, plus a cycling cap. In fact, even that was too much for such a nice day. The long-term forecast promises us more unseasonably mild weather (if not this mild), so I may get a real early jump on my training.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
