THERE's my global warming, with afternoon temps in the 60s in early December. What to do, what to do?? Ride the pavement bike! Go fast and don't freeze! Needed to ride from Don't Want To Drive Anywhere's house, so came up with a route that ended as the sun went down on trails and bike lanes. But what a glorious afternoon and early evening! Two layers, yeah, but no coat! Probably could have ridden with one layer in the woods, but it was realllly nice to be on a pavement bike again. Wish it coulda been a full 30 to celebrate 60 half miles for Birthday Boy Keating but it was not to be and finishing while just starting to need lights was good enough. Felt great, strong on the climbs. Was great to open it up on the descents until it got a little dim... Legs seem to be keeping their conditioning (yaay Peloton?) and cardio seemed good. w/Dan
