Couldn't go through the Schaeffer trails for the usual route from the Soccerplex to the start of SRT because Schaeffer is closed and there are hunters within. So down Black Rock Road we went (No way we'd come BACK that route, up that giant hill). That was a little nippy but as soon as we started climbing on the trail, nobody was cold. Felt mostly ok, but had to stop twice unexpectedly for extremely (160+) heart rates. A minute or two and things were back to normal but things just didn't feel right for a coupla spots. Legs felt good and while Mark fell off while going slow up a hill and messing with his watch or garmin, no such incidents occurred on my bike. Temps were in the 50s and there was a cooling wind that made it seem cooler, but still, not bad for December.
