Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Well, spring is here and so is the weather! Good weather, that is! It was in the mid/upper 60's, winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit, with 1 base layer. I felt average going out the door, a bit skewed by the headwind to the end of the street. It didn't take much warming up to where my legs came to life. I did moderate tempo going up OTR. Made it to route 202 in good time. I stopped for a moment because there was debris in my glasses, so I removed it and continued just as quick. I began climbing Banducci in moderate tempo, then bumped it up to good, with a dig over the top. I used the false flat to recover, stretching here and there. The remainder of the climb was done in good tempo. I paused at the summit to recover and to let traffic through. Once it was safe, I began the descent. The usual fun and games, practicing my tuck position when it was safe. The trip across the valley was done with the expected head wind. I held moderate to good tempo to the back (modest) climb to SS. I held back a little bit over the top. I reached the tunnel in good time, about 57ish minutes. I held good tempo though SS and reached Banducci at around 1:02ish. Going back on Banducci was more of a concentration on form and balance. After reaching Pelisser, I stretched and kept going with moderate and mostly good tempo. This was the case till I reached the last climb. The last climb was done between good and high tempo. With a slight dig over the summit. I recovered on the false flat. Pausing at the Route 202 junction, waiting for traffic to pass and commenced the 1/4 mile stretch to OTR. I had to negotiate through traffic. I brought the tempo up to about 36-37mph to mitigate the traffic. From there it was mostly fun and games. Putting a bit of an effort over Mariposa and cruised the remainder back. Concentration was good for the most part. I had some things to think about, so that helped me stay in the zone. I experienced some gremlins on the descent down Banducci, but it went as soon as it came. Balance and form felt good. My legs had a good sense of symmetry. Not perfect, but ideal for now. Ailments consisted of soreness in the lower back. This persisted for a good portion of the ride. I was having to adjust my tempo and stretching at every opportunity. I still have a sore right wrist, but it seems to be feeling better. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists today.
And almost swallowed a bug that flew into my mouth. I was able to spit it out just as quick as it got in. Good thing it didn't sting my tongue!
