Ride Some Trails In Unusual Sequence

Wasn't feeling like a big ride after Sunday's ride, so did some meandering on some trails unridden for awhile and in some unusual combinations. ... Probably more pavement and paved trails than usual, too, with a fair bit from 6 to 8.7 and then some more from 12 to 15.5 and then some more from 16.5 to the end. But plenty of dirt in the beginning and besides, wasn't feeling like dealing with traffic and the pavement bike.

Started off feeling a little iffy but things soon settled down. Need to get back to regular IT band stretches to keep the knees happy. Day was warm; breeze was cool but not downright cold as on Sunday, nor nearly as strong.

Ended going a bit farther than originally intended but that was fine, too.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
