🚴‍♀️Day 9: Troutville to Dublin, VA. Somehow some of my elevation gain was dropped, I believe it was closer to 5000. Steepe...

We went a few extra miles to Blacksburg for a bike shop. They put Cliff’s bike right in and repaired his brake etc. in one hour! I bought a gift for my grandchildren and incredibly they had a battery charger in stock only because it had been returned, which will help me a great deal. I stayed in town to do some work while I knew I had Wi-Fi, and Cliff and Kathy went came ahead to the campground. I had about an hour before dark when I got here, and we had to carefully pack up all our food because of bears, and everything else because of rain. I set up my cot & sleeping bag and came to bed, still needing a shower. Food, shower, or bed?
Definitely bed.🤗

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
