Here I sit. 🤗 So I woke up at 5:00 ready to go, then frustrated. I called the bike shop at 11:30 to see if he had rec’d the tracking info on that part yet. He had not, but he called Bosch and they told him it will arrive by 7 PM tomorrow. He should have me on the road by early afternoon Thursday. Two very special conversations today reminded me why I’m doing what I am doing. Thank you! I’m trying to wrap my brain around resting, so that my body will cooperate. Maybe tomorrow I’ll settle down better. It was good to get outside and sit in the grass. Hot day. I found a sweet downey feather. Also had a little visitor outside my window. I read a bunch. That is all I have to say for myself today, except that I have seen too many incidences of protection leading up to and during this trip, that it’s clear to me this is no accident. There is purpose in the wait and in the adventure ahead. As they say, “timing is everything,” and “location, location, location.” We press in together and pray for this place (lives, families, businesses) “ For such a time as this.” This day and tomorrow are as purposeful as every other day on this trip.
