It could be called the OG Quarter Epic, since it was the first 15 miles or so of last fall's MoCo Epic Northern Route For OGs ... added a bunch of trail segments we like in LB, however. Parking a truck at Hyattstown turned out to be a smart choice, instead of the day use area farther south (and at the top of a hill). Dunno why nobody thought of this earlier, except, well, OGs. Windy day but cool with very low humidity. Pavement sections were a challenge with the wind, but in the woods it was a non-factor. Other than the little nag in the back of your head about paying attention to creaking or cracking and being ready to avoid falling stuff. None fell on or near us, so all good. Started off a little tired and un-energetic but after a few miles felt really good, with plenty of legs and cardio. But all agreed when we were done that this was the right distance; didn't need any more miles ;-) w/Mark, Dan
