With rain looming seemed like the right idea to stay relatively close to home base in case the weather weenies got the timing wrong and a pickup/rescue would be required. Happily, none was needed and the rain held off for a good hour after arriving home.
Added a coupla additional miles to the northwest and south portions of the "usual" loop, mixing some stuff up. Also took the jungle trail at 18.1 to 19.5. This is sorta legal trail that hugs the bank of the creek while the official trail is farther west and farther up the bank. Way farther. With more climbing. Not that climbing is bad. But if your legs are tired the flat creek-bank trail looks pretty good ... someone had run a mower down it recently so it was actually quite a good stretch. Almost like a 3-foot-wide tunnel with tall undergrowth on each side.
Tried to ride the little stretch of trail in the Laytonia Park and found it blocked by a number of downed trees; turned around and dealt with a long stretch of grass to get to the parking lot and then pavement home from there.
Felt strong; some climbs that had been bothering me previously on this route did not this time; it's like riding more gets you stronger or something.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time.
