Eight Loiterers left Uxbridge on the short ride making for the coffee stop at Thorney Park Golf Club. On the way out of Uxbridge the end of Cleveland Road was blocked by a tree blown down in the previous night's high winds necessitating a diversion through the university halls of residence. Back on track we made good time to Thorney Park for elevenses.
Paul left us after coffee and we made our way into a strong headwind through Colnbrook, Horton, and Datchet to lunch at The Waterman's Arms in Eton. After lunch Dave P. and Lilliane made an appearance as they returned from their ride.
We then cycled through Eton College grounds to Upton Park the through Langley and Trenches Farm to our afternoon stop at Langley Park Cafe. Returning to Uxbridge we met to long group riders and so we returned with members dispersing home en route.
A good days cycling which remained dry if a bit windy.
