Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has let up. It's in the 40's with winds from the South East. Made for a good day to go to Keene. This is the first outdoor ride with my new Garmin ForeRunner 45 watch. I put it into Heartbeat broadcast mode. The Edge 810 GPS picked it up easily. The signal looked strong. I headed out and made it to the summit, but I forgot to check the time. I also forgot to start the timer until about half a mile into the ride. So, today's objective was to get in a good ride and test out the new gear. I cruised the downhill till I reached the base. I put in two digs on the risers. After making it to the base, I removed my face mask, stashed it in my jacket and headed back up the mountain. I was continuously monitoring the hear rate on the GPS. The reading looked accurate without dropouts or spikes. Very similar to the chest strap. I was having to be patient today as the wind was going the opposite direction. I was crawling along on some segments. The morale felt better as I ticked off the landmarks. Especially the exposed ones. I think the HR was a bit lower than the chest strap. Possibly by 2 or 3 beats. about half a mile from the summit, I pushed it to near max. Again, to test the new watch. I was at around 158-ish BPM. So, that's pretty close. Probably should have been around 162-ish. But close enough for me. I'll have to keep this in mind on future rides. After making it to the to the summit, I was able to relax and get back home. I shut it down after reaching the top of Weston. Concentration was good. Balance and form felt good. Nutrition was good. I went through more than half my Gatorade, no water. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness. My right upper knee is slightly tender now. Gear worked prefect. Other notes, there were no other cyclists today. There were many spectators at the Loop Monument.
