Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's cold and windy, but at least it was partially sunny. A good day to go to the Alpine Forest. I brought both my new watches and the chest band to see how they behave, by comparison. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had minimal traffic mitigation, so I was able to concentrate on the climb more than my safety. After making it to Arosa, I was able to settle into a tempo. When I reached the summit, I checked all of my watches and the GPS for comparison. They were within 2 to 3 BPM of each other. The Garmin 45 watch was a bit off. For some reason the sensor didn't pick up the HR signal as it did before. The Samsung watch was on par, as for as I can remember. I made my way around the backside and then to the summit of Banducci. I checked the gadgets again and they were very close in approximation of my HR. From there, I let the traffic by and headed back down the mountain. I was able to relax and recover. After reaching Weston summit, I shut it down. Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. Gear worked perfect. The Di2 stopped shifting sometime in the first 20 minutes of the ride. I resecured the cable to the main juncture box. I'm not sure if that fixed it, but shortly after, the Di2 started shifting normally. It was low on batteries, but didn't go into energy conservation mode. Nutrition was good. I had about 3/4ths of my Gatorade, no water. No hunger signs. Ailments, some hand soreness. The full finger gloves don't seem to give as much support and cushion as my normal cycling gloves. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
Other notes, I had to turn around and grab my face mask. I forgot to start the timer after the first 1/4 mile.
