I wasn’t excepting blue skies so I got ready as quickly as I could. I didn't really know where I wanted to ride with so many closures and I didn't want to spend any of my limited riding time planning. So, I just did the reverse of my last ride knowing that it was going to be windy and the Ralston Bike Path is still closed. Also thought it would be good to fully learn some of the new stuff I did going in reverse too.
I saw that it was going to be warm so I dressed lighter than last ride and still ended up overdressed. It ended up being shorts and short sleeve weather. Thankful for the large bar bag. I saw people fully covered and wearing puffy jackets. 🤯 I can only imagine they’re feeling cold from being super sweaty and swampy.
On the way back, I decided to go check out the Laurelwood neighborhood to see how bad the mud was. I had planned on going through the park and back on Ralston but the trail was closed due to mudslide.
So I got to finish the ride climbing the steeps of Belmont, which I was sort of trying to avoid by going around the hill to Laurelwood.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
