Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It was a questionable day for an outdoor ride. When I got up around 10AM, it looked like the clouds were going to dissipate or stay the same (partly cloudy). When I got up from my nap, I was determined to go out for a ride. I bundled up and got out. It became apparent that it was going to be a cold one. As I was riding up OTR, I could see the fog in the distance. I decided to continue. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. the Banducci Wall was developing fog. There was traffic. I ended up pulling over on more than one occasion to let the traffic by. I was able to breath a sigh of relief when I reached Arosa. The fog thickened. I was constantly on the alert. I pulled over when I could to let traffic by. It was getting cold. I decided to scrap the Banducci summit part of the ride. When I reached the bumps, I was starting to feel more relieved. I decided to turn around at the top of Arosa. From there, it was mostly traffic mitigation. There were a few danger points, so I was always on alert. After making it back to OTR, the fog had lifted and I was able to enjoy the remainder of the ride. Concentration was good. I was on high alert. Balance and form was good. Gear held up great. Ailments were minimal. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through about half my Gatorade, no water. Other notes, I saw runner as I was ascending OTR. I am now at 127 lbs. So, I've lost a lot of weight since my GI has been acting up. I feel better now. I've adjusted my diet to nurse myself back to health. Curiously, I wasn't affected much in terms of fitness. The body feels sufficiently responsive. Of course not 100%.
