The weather is cold and cloudy. Better to ride indoors. Watopia mountain loop seemed to fit the bill. The body felt good to start. I kept the fan off to allow the body to warm up first. I had two Holo Replays. One for the entire loop and the other for the climbing sector. I also had one on the sprint zone. My approach was to keep my ghost within a minute from me. As the climb progressed, I was able to pull away just ever so slightly. After breaking a sweat, I was able to put more power into the pedals. I kept this approach to the summit. The legs felt good. No soreness in the knees. The hands cooperated. I don't remember my placing at the top, but it was around 30 minutes and change. Pretty good. I didn't bother checking my placing. Will have to check the video footage. From there, I headed up the bonus climb. Starting moderate and picking it up as the climb progressed. I was able to recoup on the downhill. I was watching the milage and the other metrics. Guessing how much time it would take to finish and other landmarks. I put in a good sprint through the sprint zone. I beat my Holo Replay by about half a wheel. I placed around 90th out of 900. After reaching the finish, I put it into cooldown mode. I waited till the usual 112 BPM mark and then hopped off. Concentration was good. Minimal lapses, no gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Some what of a wrestle, though with the bike being stationary. Nutrition was good. I went through most of my Gatorade, no water. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, there were about 7000 riders at the start of the ride on this map.
