Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather continues to be unrideable. I rode with some Robo Pacer groups today. The first was in Watopia for about 10 minutes. It was a 1.1W/kg group. So, I was mostly spinning the legs. Then I hopped into another Watopia group of 2.2 W/kg. It was mostly around the volcano. From bottom to top. The Robo Pacer disappeared after reaching the summit, so I was having to ride alone for the last half. By this time, the legs were feeling warmed up. The last group was a 2.6 W/kg group. I was sufficiently warmed up. I was able to keep up, mostly towards the front, but I was drifting forward and back, never out of reach of the Robo Pacer. The legs felt good. I was well within my limits. I shut it down after about 27 or 28 minutes. I let the HR go back down to 112 W/kg then hopped off the trainer. Concentration was pretty good. Hints of gremlins here and there. I think I got on the trainer a bit too late. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless, although the HR sensor lost connection every now and again. I grabbed my garmin bike computer for comparison. The bike computer tracked the HR flawlessly, so it could have been a range issue. Nutrition was good. I went through my Gatorade bottle, no water. Other notes, there were about 10k riders on Watopia today.
