The weather has let up enough to go out for a ride. I got out a bit late. Better late than never. The legs felt average to start. It's been a while since I got out. The wind was from the North West. Favorable for this ride. I wore the standard winter kit. I was sufficiently warm. I didn't bother checking the time to the summit of the descent, but likely in average time. The downhill was mostly relaxing, into the wind, so it took few more minute than normal to reach the base. After reaching the base, I headed back without delay. The miles went quick. The body was responding sufficient. Nothing heroic, but also no hinderances. I was counting off the landmarks as they went by. After the second riser, I was feeling better. All the while thinking about lunch. I made it to the summit in about 1:14 hours. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recover. I headed down and to the mail box where I picked up the mail. After reaching the top of Weston, I shut it down. Concentration was pretty good. Minimal lapses or gremlins. Gear worked flawless. Balance and form was good. Ailments were next to none. Nutrition was good. I went through most my Gatorade, no water. I'm using more powder this time. about 75% cap full. I used to put about 50%. I like the 75% mixture better. Other notes, no cyclists today. There were some spectators at the Loop Monument as I was on my way down and on the ascent.
