Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It snowed all day yesterday. The sun is out, but there's too much snow on the road for a bike ride. So, I chose to ride indoors (again). There was a neat map on the Makuri Island. It was about 21 miles in distance. I knew I could get it done in around one hour, as there wasn't much elevation gain. So, I hopped right into it. The legs were a bit cold to start. I think it took about 20 minutes to get them warmed up. Once there, I was able to hold a steady pace. There were some sprint zones that I didn't exert myself. At one point, there was a small group of riders that were riding at the same tempo, so I joined them and tried to keep up. Eventually the group broke up and I was left to ride on my own. I kept the tempo going till the end of the ride. At least the (changing) scenery kept me in the zone. After reaching the finish, shut it down and started the cooldown phase immediately. Concentration was good. Gear worked flawless. The Garmin watch worked better with the sensor turned inwards. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I went through most of my Gatorade, no water. Ailments were minimal. Other notes, there were about 5000 riders on this map when I hopped on!
