My legs and lower back were a little sore from last night's ride but I want some excitement on today's adventure so it was my local hill ride. I know this hill route is wimpy to what many in Hill Country ride but its what I have here in Pancake Country, so don't laugh! The ride was going along very nice, hitting the hills with good speed and power then came a 5 mile flat stretch of the ride that I worked hard maintaining a good cadence, speed and power about 3 miles into this section of the ride my left knee, thigh and lower back started to really hurt, but I didn't ease up until I finished this section where I stopped to stretch out the greatest pain my back. There isn't much I can do for my knee and because of the knee stretching the thigh is tough. After I adjusted my back it felt so much better that I forgot about the knee and thigh. I decided to do the remaining 8 miles of the ride as a cool down. I was very happy with the adventure ride up to this point, minus the pain issues. Now to the 2nd part of the ride... Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
