It was a little hotter than I liked early in the day, so I waited to the evening. It was still warmer than my liking but had no choice. Got the bike ready and stretched out my back, turned everything on and away I went. I was going to do my semi local hill ride. I get 4 miles out and went to take a drink and realized I forgot my camelback hydration. I made a loop to go home to get it, when I stretched my back I had it sitting next to the bike and never picked it up. I knew it would not be smart doi8ng the ride without drinking as hot and humid as it was. It was a blessing in disguise as my legs were very sore so a did a different hill ride that was much better for my legs. The first 11 miles was a little tough trying to loosen up my legs. The last 19 miles was tough trying to keep up the effort with sore lower quads and the heat, humidity and wind.. I did however, was able to ride faster and stronger much to my surprise, enjoyment and adventure! Tomorrow's adventure will be a much easier ride in low zone 2 if I can keep from getting carried away. Be safe out there and enjoy your ride!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
