Tonight's power/speed interval workout kicked my Butt! I was a little disappointed that I couldn't hit my target power watts zone that I had set for myself. I had no problem hitting it when the intervals were on a hill but not on the flats and even worse going down hill. I came close a few times! I'm not sure if I set the target too high, or my legs just didn't have it today or my fitness was lacking? I did give my best and it wasn't good enough. I felt like I could have just rode in high zone 3 tempo ride done just as well? I just realized I had the same effect on my 1st speed/power interval workout. The intervals were too long and I shortened it and had much better results, LOL! Next one will be shorter. At least I had enough endurance and strength to complete distance, so not a total waste. I can't believe how exhausted I was/am from the workout. My sister saw me an hour after the ride and asked if I was OK? 2 more speed/power intervals before my next TT race. 6.5 of the 11 intervals were on hills so it was a great adventure and in retrospect a successful workout! Tomorrow's adventure will be a pleasant ride... be safe out there and enjoy your ride!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
