Extremely Skinny Derwood-DC Loop

Needed 50, got close enough for gubmint work but whoooo the heat, the old man, the climbs at 40 and after ...

Right much of a death march for the last 10 miles. Didn't help the motivation to do this in the first place was extremely low, but the covered bridge ride is coming, like winter in westeros, and you need to be ready. Gotta get to where 50 is no problem. We're not quite there yet.

Deliberately stuck to the trail after Mile 38 because it was less climby than the nearby streets and roads that go in and out of the stream valley.

Pretty strong S wind but mostly downhill in the exposed areas. Not much help at all coming back up the Rock Creek stream valley

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
