I couldn't let today go to waste. The weather was fantastic. My plan was to go to WS + Banducci, but I decided to do add the Tour de Teh (R) route. I felt good from the start. Legs a bit heavy. I made it to then end of OTR in good time. Once there, I stopped and checked the tracking app. It wasn't working when I started the ride. It failed to connect via Bluetooth. I couldn't get it to work, so I forgot about it and just got on with the ride. The wind was more of a tail-cross to WS, and cross-head on the way back. I cruised it to WS, and turned around. Starting modest and picking up the pace a bit to the summit and over the top. Banducci wasn't too bad. There was a slight tailwind, but my legs felt pretty good. Such was the case to the summit. My concentration was much better today. I was aiming for a positive outlook as I was riding. Kind of helped the morale. There were some Gremlins here and there. Windtalkers on the way down Banducci. A bit awkward as it always is. But the difference this time was that I kept my positive morale going. Sort of absorbing the bumps in the road. I made it through the farmlands and CVR climb in good time. My body continued to feel good. The fresh cool air helped alot. I had enough provisions to last the entire ride. Consisting of 2 large bottles, Cytomax + Water. That's all that i needed. Ailments were next to none. My lower back was somewhat sore yesterday and I think the morning, but it went away. I didn't feel it on the ride. Balance and form felt good. I'm going to put my bike on the trainer to adjust the cleats on the shoes. I need to get it dialed in soon. Gear is working well, other than the Tracker not working. That was the second time it didn't work in the past 2 rides. Will have to trouble-shoot the issue. Other notes, no other cyclists, motorists were more courteous today. There were some bovine at the summit of Banducci. I took some photos.
