Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I got out later than I anticipated, but I did what I planned. The right sit bone (area) has subsided. Enough to be able to safely go out for a modest ride. I swapped out the saddle to the one I bought a while back. The one that I purchased after making careful measurements of the sit bones. First impression, it feels better. It has a concave shape to it that seems to accommodate the sit bones better. I stopped twice to adjust the saddle height. I had to raise it by about an inch or so. Will have to check the seat post to see if it's still within the limits. As far as the ride goes, I felt real strong. I left in anger. I botched a subscription I forgot to cancel with GoPro and I wasn't given a refund. So, I was fuming a bit. At least I put it into the pedals instead of the mouth. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. Around 20 minutes. So, very quick! I cruised the downhill, being gentle on the saddle. I pushed over Mariposa (moderately) and shut it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was ok for riding in anger. The late departure didn't help. Balance and form felt good with the swapped saddle. I have to dial in the height. Ailments, still some minor soreness in the right sit bone (muscle). Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I went through half my sport drink. Other notes, no cyclists today.
