The weather has let up. It is now sunny and on the cool side. Around 50 degrees. Mild wind from the North West. I wore arms, knees, headcap and my jacket. I was sufficently warm for the duration of the ride. I'm still rehabilitating the right inner glute. It's much better now. Good enough to complete the ride I had planned. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. The legs were responsive. The cool air helped. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. So, I was on high alert as I was making my way up the climb. More of the same on the way to the summit. When I arrived at the summit, I pulled over and took a few moments rest. I was debating on feeding a Clif Bar, but decided against it. I checked the GoPro camera battery charge, let traffic by and headed back down the mountain. The descent was mostly safe. I was able to let the wheels roll down the Banducci Wall. After making it back to OTR, I was able to relax and enjoy the downhill. I pushed over Mariposa and made my way back home. I shut it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was good. There were some gremlins out there. I held it together. The morale got me through the ride. Balance and form was good. The saddle height feels prpper. Ailments, some mild right lower knee soreness. It didn't escalate, but was noticeable. Will keep tabs on it. The right inner glute is doing better. I was able to complete the ride with minimal pain. Nutrition was good. I drank more than half my Gatorade, no water. Gear worked flawless. I was going to wear my GoPro Chesty harness, but decided against it. Other notes, No cyclists today, only a runner.
