Sure, i can ride two days in a row in February! Of course i can! How can you pass up two days in a row in February with temps in the 60s??!?!? Narrator: And on Day 2 there was suffering. The suffering didn't truly start until the first bit of the climb at 9.4, at which time the legs started yelling about "previous day" and other nonsense and insisted a rest was required. That was the start of the three big climbs on the end of Seneca Ridge trail. All three involved ... some struggling, but the worst by far started at 12 ... by then the legs were just completely done. At least there were multiple trees down, which required getting off, lifting the bike over the mess, so that essentially produced some breaks. Still, it was quite enjoyable even with legs threatening to cramp. It's February after all, and nobody is doing back-to-backs (or should be) right now .... Probably won't get out again for a coupla weeks, based on the long-range weather forecasts, but it was sure fun while it lasted. w/mark, dan
