A ride on the NH Ice Cream Trail to Devriendt Farm Products, Goffstown, NH. Ride begins and ends at the Goffstown Parks and Recreation building and parking area off Rt 114 nearly across from the Farm. Cross Rt 114 onto Wallace Road. Wallace Road to Shirley Hill Road. Beware the Green Footed Mystic Brook Monster, it left a trail of chipmunk carcasses as it crossed the road. Cross Rt 114 again onto St. Anselm Drive to St. Anselm College. Home of the Dana Center and political debates. Also home to a Hall with a fishy, random name. Continue over a high bridge to then coast down below it to the intersection of several Rail Trails at the trail bridge over the Piscataquog River. From here the route follows the UNPAVED Goffstown Rail Trail into Goffstown. Okay, so the first bit over the bridge is paved. But the rest is NOT, and has some spots with LOOSE SAND that might not be passable on a road bike, but those can be walked. Otherwise use RT 114 to the Farm. You can practically see the finish from the Farm stand.
