Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was a bit warmer, but remains ideal. Winds from the West. I felt good going out the door, so I decided to push it today. I did good time to the end of OTR. I was experimenting with the camera, so I stopped a few times to make adjustments. The out bound to WS was mostly moderate to good tempo. Alternating. The return trip went well. The wind was modest, so I was holding 15MPH+. I put in a good push over the top. In the meantime, I wanted to see what my legs would do when putting the power down. My right calf started to complain just as I was about to reach the summit of Highline, on the return. I'll be spending the fall/winter to find out what's going on. Concentration was good today. It was fun, so that helped. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness, some right calf soreness when putting it to the max. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well.
