Birthday Plum Island Ride

Did an easy 25 mile loop from Plum Island to Rowley for my birthday ride with Amy. Goal was to swim at Plum Island beach at the end, so we parked at a beach in the morning, but it started to pour when we got back, so no swimming for Matt on his birthday! So we had a lobster roll instead! In Rowley found a lovely bakery cafe for a cinnamon palmier and a coffee latte with oat milk. Amy took a nice picture and she gave me a great card with spy vs spy from the Norman Rockwell Mad Magazine exhibit at Great Barrington. What a thoughtful person, I love her so much. Good training for Lake Champlain next week. We hope it doesn't rain!

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
