After a solid week of drizzle and rain, it cleared up for an afternoon. Forecast is more rain after this brief interlude, for something like 4 more days . So with the woods wet and none of us in great roadie shape, let's ride one of the county's two dirt roads, the towpath and about 6 miles of pavement. Maybe not as many miles as preferred, but at this point who cares, we were outside, the day was lovely and we were riding bikes. Followed it up with a beer and a burger at the White's Ferry Grill (ferry stilllll closed and is probably going to remain that way, sadly). Body felt fine after a warmup. The 9% grade at 14.4 got the legs' attention and after that they woke up and powered up everything else without needing the smaller front chainring.
