Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I got out thinking I was going to be able to go to the Alpine Forest. It is cold out and I wore the standard winter kit. I felt mostly warm. I noticed that my legs were heavy to start, so I decided to play this ride by ear. I was continuing to feel sluggish and heavy as I was making my way to the summit of OTR. I decided to call it a ride at the top so that I can reset for the next ride. I cruised my way back home from there.
Concentration was good, but I was a bit down in the morale knowing that I couldn't finish my ride safely. Safety was my concern, so I didn't let my ego get in the way. Balance and form was good, but I did feel a bit out of place from the lack of energy. Ailments were minimal, other than the lack of energy. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through less then half my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly.
Other notes, I saw three cyclists today.
