Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was hot, in the low 90's. There was a generous wind from the North-West. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel. I felt pretty good from the start, but I knew I wasn't going to be able to do high tempo today. I did calculated efforts instead. I went out moderate and lifted the tempo only where necessary, such as over the summits. I was able to increase the tempo just a bit on the way back. The wind was more of a cross-tail at that point. I was doing about 20ish through most of the farm-lands. I decided to eat half of my power bar when I reached SS, then the other half when I reached the base of the last climb. My ailments were close to none. My back was sore at times, I ended up stretching and that took care of it. Stopping helped my body recover as well. Concentration and balance were right on. Gear is working well, it sounds like my saddle needs to be tightened and flush out my pedals. Other notes, I saw one or two gigantic turkey-vultures.
