It was cooler today. It was a bit cloudy and in the 80's. My body behaved a bit unusual. First impression, out the door, was promising. But as I progressed through OTR and Highline, my legs never really felt lively. I also lost about 5 minutes of data from the start, as I forgot to start the GPS. I think, overall, today was an off day. It's the last day of the week, so I'm feeling a bit tired and probably need a day off from working out. The wind was almost exclusively from the west. I had a nice tailwind on the way out and a headwind on the way back. I think I did average time on the way out, and I was in cruise control on the way back, doing moderate tempo. Only lifting the tempo where the road kicks up a bit. Although I felt sluggish, I didn't have any ailments. Balance was so so, but not too bad. Gear is working well, I didn't have time to clean my pedals. Hence, the noise that I heard pretty much through out the entire ride. Concentration was probably the best part of the ride. I felt real comfortable in the mind. Other notes, I stopped by the donkey field and beckoned him for a betting. He approached me cautiously. I was unable to reach over to his neck, and he had an eye mask. I was very careful. I pet him a bit too close to his mouth and he warned me with a little nip, but he didn't bite me. There was one glider out near the camp-ground. Looked like it was riding the thermals.
